The West Pullman build site remains open to volunteers every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the winter and every time you volunteer, your name is entered to win 2 Southwest Airlines tickets. 	Now - March: Women Build Team Leader Signups Would you be interested in playing a huge role in one of Habitat's largest events? Become a Team Leader for Women Build 2016! 	March 23^rd: West Pullman Community Action Group Meeting Join Habitat Chicago and the West Pullman community for our monthly Community Action Group meeting. Be a part of the conversation with residents and share your ideas and visions for what you would like to see in the community. Location TBD, 6pm-8pm Contact us if you're interested in attending and would like more information.

	March 30^th: Habitat Heroes, Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Event This upcoming March, we will be hosting our annual Volunteer Appreciation event. This event will bring together all of the volunteers that have worked with Habitat Chicago through our build site, events, or helping out at our ReStore. Such dedication truly makes our volunteers heroes for Habitat Chicago and our families. Email usfor more details or check back soon for more information.

	April 30^th: Block Build Join us this spring for the first Block Build of 2016! This event will round up volunteers to work on exterior home repairs for 10 families. Email us for more information.

	July 12^th-16^th: Women Build 2016 Not ready to be a team leader? You can still join a group of amazing women this year at Women Build 2016! It's a five day build that brings over 300 women together to help fund and build the home of one of our female-led partner families, the Goins. Start spreading the word, get together a team, and get involved with this inspiring all-women event. Check here for more information!

	Pope Francis Home Challenge This August, Habitat for Humanity Chicago began work on the Powers family's home.This home is sponsored in part by an anonymous donor who has pledged $60,000, and challenges the Chicago community to raise the additional funds needed to build the home.
