Windy City Habitat for Humanity
Doug Anderson is in Strategic Marketing for Siemens, a global
engineering and electronics conglomerate. Mr. Anderson leads long term
strategic evaluations across a broad range of geographies, verticals, and
products. He recently led the investment analysis for key Emerging
Markets such as Brazil and Mexico.
In 2011, Mr. Anderson joined Windy City Habitat for Humanity, working with the
Development committee. Mr. Anderson became involved with Habitat for Humanity
because he knows the importance of being raised in a decent home and having a
constructive environment. He believes that every child deserves the opportunity
to reach their highest potential.
Throughout the years, Mr. Anderson has devoted his efforts to other worthwhile
causes as well. At Saint Vincent de Paul, he is active within the parish and
serves hot meals at their Food Pantry. Mr. Anderson has also been a
project leader for the Taproot Foundation which drives social change through
pro bono consulting.
As a resident of Chicago's Northside, Mr. Anderson lives with his wife Tiffany
and son Kai in the city's Lincoln Park neighborhood. An alumnus of Indiana
University, Mr. Anderson earned a Masters in Business Administration from The
University of Chicago.
